A lot of people struggle with character limits because they don’t know how to use them properly. We’re going to discuss the most common mistakes that people make when it comes to character limits and offer solutions for those problems.

People forget that there are different types of characters. Spaces and punctuation each take-up space in a document, so you need to account for them when writing out your articles or blog posts.
Numbers also count as characters because they’re symbols rather than letters. If you use numbers at the beginning or end of sentences, this counts against your limit too!
This means if you want to say something like “I ate five apples” then it should be written as “I ate (no more than) five apples.” You can’t write out an entire sentence with just one number after another.
That would not only go over the character limit but make no sense whatsoever – spaces help break up words.
