As we saw earlier, we are biologically programmed to be active in the presence of other people. We are social beings that thrive on the constant interaction with other humans, and this is why it is so important that we surround ourselves with good people.

The concept of good people isn’t new but it’s the focus of our recent work on Social AI and Artificial Social Intelligence. We have been working on it for several years now on various projects, and we have found that the best way to deal with social problems is to introduce human interaction as the solution. To make our theories concrete, we implemented a system called human/environment interaction that helps us understand and control human interactions.

I don’t think there are any games where I think these kinds of interactions are really useful. In most of the games I’ve played I find these ways to be a waste of time. The main reason is that most times the developers are trying to use the game mechanic to get something out of it. Maybe they want the player to be doing something specific or want the game to be more dynamic.

I am not suggesting that the developers are not using the game mechanic in a good way. Its just that I believe there is more to the game of combat that way too. I think you should be using the game mechanic to provide something specific to the player. I think what is lost in many games is the player actually gets to interact with the world. Its a nice touch but it should be something the player does not have to think about.
